The Opportunity

Help Build a
Franchise Team.

The Global Cricket Series is recruiting coaches, academies, clubs and organisations to become Franchise Team Partners — competing in the Tobago Trophy 2027, an international 16 & under cricket tournament in the Caribbean. You can lead a full squad, contribute a handful of players, or build a team alongside another organisation. There's no single way to get involved.

The model is designed to be flexible, collaborative and accessible.

YOU DON'T NEED A FULL SQUAD

You don't need 14 players. You might have:

• A full squad ready to travel
• Six or eight players who would love the opportunity
• A small academy group
• A network of talented players across different clubs
• A coaching programme looking for something unique to work towards

All of these can work. Many franchise teams will be built through collaboration, with The Global Cricket Series helping to bring players and coaches together where needed.

Whether you contribute four players or fourteen, there is a place within the model.

Your Role

What Does a
Franchise Partner Do?

Depending on your circumstances, you might:

• Recruit players into a franchise team
• Help identify talented players through your network
• Lead coaching sessions
• Attend the tournament as a coach or manager
• Support player and parent communications
• Help create the culture and identity of a franchise team

Some partners will play a major leadership role. Others may simply contribute players and support the wider programme. Both are equally valuable.

WE HANDLE THE LOGISTICS

We handle the administration so you can focus on players and coaching:

• Flights
• Accommodation
• Ground transport
• Tournament operations
• Fixtures and scheduling
• Match officials
• Live scoring and streaming
• Excursions and cultural activities
• Parent support and communications

This allows Franchise Team Partners to focus on players, coaching and creating a great experience.
